JAKARTA - Indonesia National Team was seriously looking for a rival as a preparation before competing in the third round of the Pre-2014 World Cup, starting next September. Among the opponents are on the agenda, only Malaysia and North Korea that have been fixed.
"North Korea is likely to Indonesia to hold a test match on 17 or 18 August," said PSSI chairman Djohar Arifin Husin at Sahid Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (3/8/201).
Previously, Garuda team will also travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia faced on 14 August. Actually, the match against Malaysia Indonesia planned to be held August 10 at the Bung Karno Stadium, but the Malaysian side was unable to be replaced on August 14, 2011. "So, we are going there because they were not ready," he said.
Indonesia itself reportedly will also challenge several other Asian countries in the test match, but for election opponent, Djohar fully devolved to the National Team coach Wim Rijsbergen.
"There is likely to face Jordan or Australia, because I have communicated with the two countries, but we leave to coach," he said.
